An award-winning filmmaker from Houston, Damian moved out to Los Angeles in 2007 to join the production program at USC's School of Cinematic Arts.

He is currently working to complete his thesis film, "Children of the Air". The film was the winner of the Panvasion New Filmmaker Grant and also received a full D.I. grant from E-Film. The film stars Katheryn Winnick ("Love and Other Drugs" & "Bones") and Travis Van Winkle ("Friday the 13th" and "Transformers").

He is also working to complete his first feature-length documentary, "Barbarian Days", about a legion of loyal fans of the original writer of Conan the Barbarian.

A recent short film he directed for Sony's prototype of the Sony F3 camera was screened at Sony's booth during Sundance this year.

Damian's first 16mm film, "Blink", won a Remi Award and screened at several festivals nationwide. He has been selected as one of the ten directing finalists in USC's prestigious 546 directing competition.

Damian is now a fourth year graduate student emphasizing in directing. He and his wife are living happily ever after in California.

Damian lives by his favorite movie quote: “Almost the whole world is asleep. Everybody you know. Everybody you see. Everybody you talk to. He says that only a few people are awake and they live in a state of constant total amazement.”
